ACTIVE COMPONENTS
The most valuable components of Reishi mushrooms are, on the one hand, the polysaccharides with pharmacological effect, especially beta-1,3- and beta-1,6-D-glucans. On the other hand, the triterpenes, which belong to the secondary plant substances and protect the mushroom itself against the attack of microorganisms and bacteria. Furthermore, it is rich in fiber, contains active proteins and even vitamin D. In addition to all important amino acids and valuable minerals, including a lot of iron, it even contains the rare and medically relevant trace element germanium.
ORIGIN OF RAW MATERIAL
The raw material for our Premium Reishi Capsules comes from the renowned province of Shaanxi in China and is cultivated there according to traditionally proven methods. The exceptional soil quality prevailing there as well as the perfect climatic conditions ensure the highest concentration of the valuable fungal substances. During the best harvest time from June to October, when the content of vital substances has reached its peak, the mushrooms are gently harvested by hand.
CULTIVATION & PRODUCTION
Our Reishi mushrooms are grown on a special wooden substrate and gently shade-dried after harvest. After the fruiting body of the mushroom is separated from the mycelium ("stem"), the grinding of the pure fruiting body begins according to the shellbroken method in a multi-stage grinding process, resulting in the finest powder (<0.125mm) at the end. The powder is now gently extracted exclusively with water and without any addition of alcohol at temperatures below 40°C to ensure optimal absorption of all components as well as high bioavailability of the raw material. Toxic residues (such as acetone, methanol) can thus be completely excluded.
